2011 Plans

           The CIA board is presently meeting at 6:30PM on the First Monday in the Canton Township Offices.  Visitors and volunteers are welcome.  In this, its third year, the board again agreed to limit the project to the immediate Canton area. 

Seven to nine homes will be accepted for work in Canton in 2011.  On some of the homes, repairs needed are extensive, including furnace, siding, roofing, and driveway repairs.  But extensive exterior raking, trimming, and cutting are also required.  Volunteer teams are committed from Plymouth, Canton, Salem, and Churchill high schools.  While providing an outlet for their commitment to community service, we intend to make this a fun day for all involved.

Various tradesmen and companies have volunteered their time and materials to help on the 30^th. 

     Home Depot has volunteered a full work crew for that day.  Our community is thankful to them and all the companies who will help ensure the work done is done well.
